Blog 3: Favorite music band/ artist / kind of music

 It's hard for me talk about only one of my favorite music group, that´s because I like too many music styles, but if I had to pick one to listen to for the rest of my life or something like that, I would choose Daft Punk.

Daft Punk is a musical duo formed by the french musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo y Thomas Bangalter, characterized for their songs and particular helmets. They started making their own music in the year 1992, creating so their six albums; "Homework" (1997), "Discovery" (2001), "Human After All" (2005), "Alive" (2007), "Tron: Legacy" (movie soundtrack, 2010) and "Random Access Memories" (2013). Even though they say they don´t have a defined style their songs are very popular, and they are usually attribuited to the genre of electronic music, although this doesn't represent them in all his works.

Some of their most famous songs are; "Get Lucky" (2013), "One More Time" (2001), "Instant Crush" (2013), "Around the World" (1997), among others. I have personally listen to them since my twelve years or so and I can say that I really like all their songs, although some more than others, but definitely my favorites songs are "Da Funk" (1996), "Aerodynamic" (2001), "Digital Love" (2001), "Something About Us" (2003), "Technologic" (2005) and "Instant Crush" (2013).


Sometimes it makes me sad to think of this group, because they decided to separate this year, the day twenty two of February. They announced it in a Youtube video called "Epilogue", in this the members walk together in a desert until one of them explote and the other leaves the place while playing in the background their song "Touch" (2013), this was very sad for me, I felt like if something in me was gone that day.

Listening to their music sometimes makes me nostalgic, but I always enjoy it. Unfortunately I could never go to one of their concerts, but I see them online and I enjoy them.

Post 2: Why did you choose this career/study programme?

When I was a child I was very fond of natural sciences, the medical career attracted my attention, but as I grew older I also realized how difficult it is to enter that career and I became a little unmotivated. In addition, in high school, the field of certain social sciences began to attract me, mainly psychology, since it was my favorite subject in high school. I finally decided to study psychology and luckily I coud enter the career with my psu score. So far my experience at the university has not been as good as I thought it would be, mainly due to the modality of online classes due to the global pandemic that we are still experiencing. My problem with this modality is that it makes everything much more stressful, at least for me due to the lack of face-to-face contact with my classmates and teachers, but despite this I try to cope and move on. In the future I would like to dedicate myself to clinical psychology since for now it is the field in which I feel the greatest interes...

Blog 2: The best concert/ holidays I've ever had

In my case i will relate mi last vacations, of the year 2020. I went to the city of San Carlos, in Chillán, with some members of my family, like father, mother, brother, cousins, uncles, between others.  We went to many places around, but the most I liked was "El Puente del Inglés". This is a beatiful and big place, there is a giant river very cold and precious, mountains around, rocks, the famous bridge, caves, trees, birds, campings and a lot of other things. We were there around seven am, so early in the morning, but it was worth it despite the cold, that was a fantastic day, we ate the breakfast and the lunch over there, it was a very nice moment with my family. I toke too many photos (that I show you over down here) because I really love that place, I think that is simply handsome, watch the nature there was an enriching experience. I definitely will back to that place and take more photos.
